160 years of Fr. W. Schnutz Mechanical Engineering - is it actually possible to measure the time span between yesteryear, yesterday and today?

The fastest means of transport in the company's founding year of 1846 was the stage coach. Just fifty years later, in 1896, the world had been changed forever by the industrial revolution, and our company benefited from its dynamic progress.
However, in 1946, 100 years after the company was founded, no one was in the mood to celebrate. The Second World War had been over, the state and economy were in ruins.
Today, just 60 years further on, we find it hard to comprehend how quickly and completely things changed for the better. The moral of the story is to bear up when times are tough, to keep believing in the future, and to continue the work started by our founders.

160 years of Schnutz Mechanical Engineering - these are, in many ways, a reflection of our lives and times.
